Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years experience in food production, dining, nutrition, and supervision preferred
  • Completion of sanitation and safety course may be required
  • Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as per state or county law
  • Ability to comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks
  • Must live within service area
  • Ability to work varied shifts including third/night shift

Job Qualifications

  • Positive attitude with ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Leadership skills to manage responsibilities independently
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Specialized training in food service management and nutrition desirable
  • Two years experience in quantity food production, dining, nutrition, and supervision preferred
  • Basic computer skills for record maintenance and reporting
  • Completion of approved sanitation and safety course may be required
  • Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as per state or county law
  • Ability to comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies
  • Able to lift, carry, push, pull a maximum of 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
  • Able to work around food and cleaning products
  • Must reside in service area

Job Duties

  • Manage and supervise dining services staff in absence of Account Manager
  • Ensure food quality standards and inventory levels meet regulatory requirements
  • Maintain food safety guidelines and customer service expectations
  • Assist in maintaining records of income, expenditures, and inventory for reporting
  • Conduct training and quality control for dining services staff
  • Perform essential functions such as dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher to support staffing needs
  • Communicate directives effectively between client managers and HCSG staff
  • Utilize personal protective equipment and adhere to safety protocols
  • Ensure punctuality and timely completion of cleaning and service tasks
  • Foster positive resident and customer experiences through courteous interactions
