Job Requirements

  • Graduate of a leading culinary institution or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive culinary leadership experience
  • Prior executive chef experience in luxury or high-end hospitality
  • Strong knowledge of European culinary techniques
  • Proven leadership skills in managing multi-venue operations
  • Exceptional communication and public representation abilities
  • Knowledgeable about local Texas ingredients and hospitality culture
  • Experience in budgeting, cost control, and kitchen operations systems

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate of a leading culinary institution or equivalent professional experience
  • 10+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience including Executive Chef roles in luxury hotels, private clubs, or destination restaurants
  • Proven record leading multi-venue dining programs
  • Deep understanding of European technique balanced with local sensibility
  • Ability to build and mentor high-performing culinary teams
  • Strong financial and operational acumen
  • Polished communicator and confident brand representative
  • Deep appreciation for community connection and Texas hospitality culture

Job Duties

  • Lead all culinary pre-opening initiatives including kitchen design and team recruitment
  • Collaborate with culinary leadership and Food & Beverage Director to develop cohesive menus
  • Curate partnerships with local purveyors and artisans
  • Establish kitchen systems, recipe libraries, and presentation standards
  • Direct daily kitchen operations across all venues
  • Maintain excellence in menu engineering, cost management, sourcing, and execution
  • Drive consistency, efficiency, and profitability while preserving creative integrity
  • Ensure collaboration between culinary, beverage, and service teams
  • Develop seasonal culinary activations and events
  • Represent The Knox and Auberge at media and community events
  • Partner with Marketing and PR to build culinary brand awareness
