Job Requirements

  • Formal education in business or restaurant management preferred
  • Prior experience in culinary management or executive chef roles
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a culinary team
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Exceptional guest service focus
  • Excellent communication and mentorship abilities
  • Ability to manage time and organize work effectively
  • Flexibility to work evenings, holidays, and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Formal business education or a restaurant management degree a plus

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve conflict and mentor hourly team members

  • Successful completion of corporate training program

Job Duties

  • Proactively recruit, hire and provide initial training as well as on-going training for all back of house personnel
  • Perform line checks to ensure proper quality and quantity of food
  • Inspect orders upon arrival to ensure completeness and quality
  • Inspect all aspects of kitchen operation and storage for compliance with high standards of excellence, safety, and sanitation
  • Manage financial results of the kitchen to drive restaurant profitability
  • Purchase inventory according to sales volumes, forecasted sales, shelf life, and PARs
  • Demonstrate proficiency in all cooking positions and cooking skills
  • Ensure proper scheduling and staffing to maintain efficiency, productivity, and profitability
  • Actively source talent to build a winning team
  • Work a flexible schedule including evenings, holidays, and weekends
