Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • current ServSafe certification
  • minimum 5 years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • experience working in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant environments
  • ability to manage banquet-style events
  • strong leadership and organizational skills
  • ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume settings
  • physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift with assistance as required

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • 5+ years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
  • extensive experience in banquet style events
  • experience managing and developing teams
  • current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • high level of profit and loss capability
  • leadership and team accountability skills

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company’s mandated F&B menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • review monthly profit & loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
  • work with Operations and Sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all food and beverage events, including cleanup
  • estimate food consumption and make appropriate purchases from specified food programs
  • schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume
  • recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff, including developing sous chefs and lead cooks
  • ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
  • manage kitchen equipment maintenance and conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules complying with local Department of Health regulations
  • report critical kitchen issues to General Manager
