Job Requirements
- Certificate, associate degree, bachelor’s degree in culinary arts program preferred
- Completion of recognized food safety course
- Experience in senior living community preferred
- 5+ years experience as Executive Chef or Sous Chef in senior living community, hotel, restaurant, club or similar institution

Job Duties
- Promotes teamwork within the department to ensure smooth operations and quality service to residents, co-workers and guests
- Supervises production, sanitation and food service to residents ensuring compliance with regulations
- Assists in developing and implementing standardized recipes and menu specifications
- Supports and maintains a professional and upscale culinary services program
- Assists Food & Beverage Director with interviewing, hiring, training and performance management
- Engages in hands-on cooking, serving and dishwashing as necessary
- Visits residents periodically to evaluate food service quality, quantity, temperature and appearance and implements improvements
- Supports a culture that drives top-line revenue and occupancy through business decisions and employee engagement
