Job Duties

  • Enhance the food product presented to guests
  • Make changes responding to marketplace and guest needs
  • Recommend changes to the food product using market research
  • Maintain quality and consistency in food delivery and standards
  • Provide specialist support to Executive Committee and Director of Food & Beverage
  • Support team goals through food and beverage profit and service performance
  • Select, train, and develop department personnel
  • Exercise hire and fire discretion within company policies
  • Oversee compliance with employment and civil rights laws
  • Control profit and loss elements and manage major operating expenses
  • Set financial margins and manage business against projections
  • Implement plans, monitor effectiveness, and introduce market-driven changes
  • Set targets, plan, and schedule work and performance indicators
  • Participate in long-range planning and support ongoing hotel programs
