Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of experience in food production and personnel supervision
- Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification
- Completion of sanitation and safety course as required
- Ability to work scheduled hours and be punctual
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform routine repetitive tasks continuously
- Ability to work around food and cleaning products
- Residency within the service area
Job Qualifications
- Demonstrate a positive attitude with ability to follow instructions and perform routine tasks
- Utilize leadership skills to accomplish responsibilities independently
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Specialized training in food service management and nutrition is desirable
- Two years of experience in quantity food production, dining, nutrition, and personnel supervision preferred
- Basic computer skills including web-based reporting
- Completion of approved sanitation and safety course may be required
- Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as required by law
- Ability to comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Must live in the service area
Job Duties
- Manage and supervise dining services staff in the absence of the Account Manager
- Provide leadership, support, and guidance ensuring food quality, inventory management, food safety, and customer service standards
- Assist Account Manager in maintaining income, expenditure, personnel, and equipment records
- Assist in staff training, quality control, and in-servicing maintaining high standards
- Perform essential functions of dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher as needed
- Effectively communicate directives from client managers and administrators to staff
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain sanitary conditions
