Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of experience in food production and personnel supervision
- ServSafe or Food Handler certification as required by law
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies
- Must reside within the service area
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Must be punctual and reliable
Job Qualifications
- Positive attitude with ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to perform routine repetitive tasks daily
- Leadership skills to manage responsibilities independently
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Specialized training in food service management and nutrition is desirable
- Two years of experience in quantity food production, dining, nutrition, and personnel supervision is preferred
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting
- Completion of approved sanitation and safety course may be required
- Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as per state or county law
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds
- Capability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
- Must work around food and cleaning products
- Must reside within the service area
Job Duties
- Manage and supervise dining services staff in the absence of the Account Manager
- Lead small groups of dining services employees on various shifts
- Maintain food quality standards, inventory levels, and food safety compliance
- Assist Account Manager in record-keeping of income, expenditures, food, supplies, personnel, and equipment
- Conduct training, quality control, and in-service staff to meet HCSG standards
- Perform essential kitchen functions including dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher roles when needed
- Communicate directives from client managers and facility staff to dining services employees
- Ensure safety compliance through the use of PPE and proper sanitation procedures
- Maintain punctuality and timely task completion
- Foster positive customer and resident experiences through courteous and cooperative behavior
