Job Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or senior culinary leader within the private club or resort industry
  • SERV Safe Food Manager certification required
  • ability to manage budgets and cost controls
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • capacity to lead and mentor kitchen staff
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and stand for extended periods
  • commitment to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or senior culinary leader within the private club or resort industry
  • multi-unit restaurant and banquet experience helpful
  • SERV Safe Food Manager certification required
  • familiarity with HACCP plans preferred
  • strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, labor, and control costs

Job Duties

  • Lead and inspire the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences across multiple outlets and events
  • oversee menu planning, costing, and execution with a focus on seasonal, high-quality ingredients
  • manage ordering, inventory, vendor relationships, and kitchen budgeting
  • ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and quality standards
  • develop, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and professional growth
  • partner closely with the Food & Beverage Director to align culinary operations with club goals and guest expectations
  • participate actively in member dining experiences, engaging with guests to ensure satisfaction
  • maintain strong relationships with Troon corporate culinary leaders and participate in networking and best-practice sharing opportunities
