Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior culinary leadership role
- Demonstrated ability to manage large culinary teams
- Proficiency in menu planning and food cost control
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local health regulations
- Ability to work full-time onsite at Westminster Canterbury Richmond
- Passion for delivering high-quality dining experiences
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as an executive chef or similar leadership role in culinary operations
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to develop creative and appealing menus
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills
- Experience in inventory and budget management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
Job Duties
- Lead and manage the culinary team in daily operations
- Develop and innovate menus that meet resident preferences and dietary needs
- Oversee food production, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation
- Manage purchasing and inventory control to optimize resources and minimize waste
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local sanitation and health regulations
- Foster a positive and professional dining culture focused on resident satisfaction
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special events and culinary services
