Job Qualifications
- Associates degree in Hotel, Restaurant, or Institutional Management or related field
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- 3-5 years of executive chef experience
- Experience in long-term care or healthcare preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Commitment to top-tier customer service
- Strong operational management skills
- Ability to relate effectively to an engaged resident community
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Commitment to safety and workplace culture
Job Duties
- Oversee all food production and quality
- Train and mentor cooks, servers, and utility staff
- Develop and implement innovative menus
- Maintain constructive communication with residents and their families
- Foster a workplace culture that attracts and retains staff
- Ensure food safety and service standards are met
- Participate in safety committee meetings and address workplace safety issues
