Job Requirements

  • Maintains ServSafe Food Manager certification
  • Has 1-3 years of kitchen leadership experience
  • Has ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Is comfortable managing, organizing, and communicating using technology
  • Available Monday to Friday from 6 am to 2 pm
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Willing to learn business practices

Job Duties

  • Design, prepare and coordinate unique weekly menus for all dietary needs and restrictions
  • Spearhead execution of new product lines and culinary practices
  • Participate in critical discussions regarding eater satisfaction and business growth
  • Act as liaison between business team and culinary team regarding client details and feedback
  • Hire kitchen staff with support from the Culinary Director
  • Manage, coach and train the kitchen staff with support from the Managing Chef
  • Own supply ordering and inventory
  • oversee COGS
  • Monitor and manage portion control and food costs
  • Execute strict quality control and assurance
  • Ensure kitchen operations meet company and facility standards
  • Comply with and enforce sanitary regulations and safety standards
