Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
  • or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple kitchen operations
  • knowledge of food safety regulations
  • proficiency in budgeting and financial management
  • capability to train and develop staff

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Leads kitchen management team
  • provides direction for day-to-day operations
  • supervises cooks and food preparation workers
  • develops and implements purchasing and receiving control procedures
  • monitors food quality and presentation
  • ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
  • oversees employee training and coaching in cooking techniques and service
