Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a culinary leadership role
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as an executive chef or in a similar culinary leadership role
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and sanitation standards
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement cycle menus and recipes
- Experience managing purchasing and inventory controls
- Skilled in personnel training and staff scheduling
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities
- Ability to meet financial objectives of a culinary program
Job Duties
- Maintaining the highest level of food quality and service in accordance with company values
- Developing plans to meet corporate and client culinary objectives
- Reviewing daily production plans with staff to meet storage, production, and service needs
- Ensuring production and waste records are complete and accurate
- Monitoring food service lines to ensure consistent quality and selection that meets customer needs
- Instituting company cycle menus and recipes
- Overseeing purchasing, employee training, scheduling, and record keeping
