Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a culinary leadership role
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an executive chef or in a similar culinary leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation and sanitation standards
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement cycle menus and recipes
  • Experience managing purchasing and inventory controls
  • Skilled in personnel training and staff scheduling
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities
  • Ability to meet financial objectives of a culinary program

Job Duties

  • Maintaining the highest level of food quality and service in accordance with company values
  • Developing plans to meet corporate and client culinary objectives
  • Reviewing daily production plans with staff to meet storage, production, and service needs
  • Ensuring production and waste records are complete and accurate
  • Monitoring food service lines to ensure consistent quality and selection that meets customer needs
  • Instituting company cycle menus and recipes
  • Overseeing purchasing, employee training, scheduling, and record keeping
