Job Requirements

  • Executive chef experience with minimum 6 years in elevated Vietnamese cuisine
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to manage high-volume kitchen operations efficiently
  • Commitment to servant leadership and supporting team members and guests
  • Hands-on participation during prep and service
  • Experience managing restaurant financials focusing on food costs and labor
  • Strong accountability and entrepreneurial spirit

Job Qualifications

  • Experience managing high-volume kitchens in an upscale Vietnamese food environment
  • Proven leadership skills with ability to inspire and develop a culinary team
  • Knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine and ability to innovate within the culinary tradition
  • Strong financial acumen including budgeting, labor management, and cost control
  • Hands-on approach with a passion for food and team collaboration
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Minimum 6 years of culinary management experience

Job Duties

  • Create experiences by cultivating hospitality and leading a team to craft dishes that showcase the cuisine
  • Inspire a culture of creativity, collaboration, and innovation
  • Provide hands-on leadership and support to the team especially during peak times
  • Oversee kitchen operations including quality control, inventory management, and adherence to health and safety standards
  • Collaborate with general manager and leadership to manage labor, budgets, forecasts, and ensure financial goals are met
  • Promote staff development and problem resolution to maintain a positive kitchen environment
  • Serve as an ambassador for internal hospitality and create memorable food experiences
