Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • current servsafe certification
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
  • ability to recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • strong leadership and organizational skills
  • ability to manage budgets and analyze profit and loss statements
  • excellent communication skills
  • physical ability to walk, bend, stand for long periods, and lift objects with assistance

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • bachelor's or culinary degree preferred
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
  • extensive experience in banquet style events
  • experience managing and developing teams
  • current servsafe certification required
  • servsafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • high-level profit and loss capability
  • organizational skills

Job Duties

  • adhere to the companys mandated f&b menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow
  • review monthly profit and loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
  • work with the operations team and sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute all events
  • supervise the preparation and service of all food and beverage including cleanup
  • assist with cooking when needed
  • estimate food consumption and make purchases as appropriate
  • schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume shifts
  • recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff including sous chefs and lead cooks
  • ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • supervise portioning, garnishing, and food storage
  • manage kitchen equipment maintenance
  • conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with health regulations
  • report critical issues to general manager
