Job Requirements

  • Fingerprinting background verification required
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and variable shifts
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, gripping, and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Maintain appropriate food safety and health certifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safe food handling practices
  • Strong leadership and supervisory abilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Six plus years progressive management experience in high-volume, multi-unit food service with food production expertise
  • Experience in menu and product development, food presentation, receiving and storage
  • Knowledge of current food service management practices
  • Effective personnel management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of sanitation and equipment handling guidelines
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and food production systems
  • Associates degree in culinary arts preferred or equivalent experience
  • Ability to maintain necessary certifications
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • Set and drive culinary vision for catering, concessions, and retail food operations
  • Develop, test, and refine new food products and presentation
  • Review daily menus for quality, nutrition, efficiency, and cost improvements
  • Establish production standards and training protocols for kitchen staff
  • Ensure operational excellence with adherence to food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction policies
  • Maintain recipe database and calculate nutritional information
  • Lead and manage food service staff including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and counseling
