- more than two years of post high school education but less than a degree from a four-year college
- five to ten years of related employment experience
- advanced knowledge of food profession principles and practices
- oral and written communication skills
- moderate hearing for safety communication
- excellent vision for safety
- moderate speech communication skills
- excellent comprehension and literacy to analyze budgets

Job Duties
- plan and manage kitchen staff in procurement, production, preparation and presentation of all food
- recommend menu and procedural changes
- recommend budget and manage food and labor costs within approved constraints
- perform essential functions adhering to SOPs and food programs
- manage third party relations and ordering
- hire, train, develop, coach and counsel kitchen associates and managers
- plan and manage food preparation in a safe, sanitary, cost effective manner
- monitor and control kitchen sanitation and equipment maintenance
- develop and manage department budget
- develop and implement menus and backup within corporate guidelines
- execute and promote accident prevention program
