Job Requirements
- minimum five years of kitchen management or executive chef experience required
- bachelor's or culinary degree preferred
- experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue is required
- current ServSafe certification required
- ability to lead and develop a kitchen team
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- knowledge of profit and loss statements and budget management
- ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift with assistance
- commitment to food safety and quality standards
Job Qualifications
- five plus years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
- bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
- experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
- experience in banquet-style event management
- experience managing and developing teams
- current ServSafe certification
- ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
Job Duties
- adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
- maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
- review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
- work with operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events, including food preparation, service, and cleanup
- estimate food consumption and make purchases per the specified food program
- schedule staff efficiently according to business volume
- recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff, including developing sous chefs and lead cooks
- ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
- manage kitchen equipment maintenance
- conduct sanitation audits and cleaning to comply with local health regulations
- report critical issues to the General Manager
