Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • A 2-year, 3-year or 4-year culinary degree
  • At least 5 years of progressive hotel culinary experience
  • Previous supervisor responsibility
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques
  • Understanding of health department rules and regulations
  • Familiarity with liquor laws and regulations

Job Duties

  • Coordinate all aspects of the hotel’s food production
  • Supervise kitchen staff and provide training
  • Maintain profitable food and beverage operations
  • Enforce food specifications, portion control, recipes, and sanitation standards
  • Control food and labor costs
  • Ensure compliance with health department and liquor laws
  • Maximize guest satisfaction through high-quality food and service
