Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of restaurant operations encompassing food and beverage, banquet service techniques and health and safety regulations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing
  • Ability to foster a positive working environment among team members
  • Ability to perform under pressure and stressful conditions
  • Physical capability to stand, sit, walk, bend, lift and squat for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of restaurant operations including food and beverage, restaurant and banquet service techniques
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication skills in English both oral and written
  • Ability to create and promote a positive working environment among team members
  • Capacity to work well under pressure and perform in stressful situations

Job Duties

  • Prepare, assign and delegate responsibilities for various food and beverage sub-departments including banquets
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and relevant laws and regulations
  • Ensure safety of team members and cleanliness of the facility and equipment
  • Monitor inventory of food, beverages and supplies to meet par requirements
  • Assist in conducting monthly inventories
  • Keep storerooms, refrigerators and freezers organized
  • Assist in ordering and receiving food products, beverages and supplies
  • Ensure daily appropriate staffing, cleanliness, inventory levels and equipment functionality in the kitchen
  • Comply with company and franchise operating standards and ensure food products meet brand or company presentation standards
