Job Requirements

Knowledge of restaurant operations encompassing food and beverage, banquet service techniques and health and safety regulations
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing
Ability to foster a positive working environment among team members
Ability to perform under pressure and stressful conditions
Physical capability to stand, sit, walk, bend, lift and squat for extended periods

Job Qualifications

Thorough knowledge and understanding of restaurant operations including food and beverage, restaurant and banquet service techniques
Familiarity with health and safety regulations
Strong organizational and time management skills
Effective communication skills in English both oral and written
Ability to create and promote a positive working environment among team members
Capacity to work well under pressure and perform in stressful situations

Job Duties

Prepare, assign and delegate responsibilities for various food and beverage sub-departments including banquets
Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and relevant laws and regulations
Ensure safety of team members and cleanliness of the facility and equipment
Monitor inventory of food, beverages and supplies to meet par requirements
Assist in conducting monthly inventories
Keep storerooms, refrigerators and freezers organized
Assist in ordering and receiving food products, beverages and supplies
Ensure daily appropriate staffing, cleanliness, inventory levels and equipment functionality in the kitchen
Comply with company and franchise operating standards and ensure food products meet brand or company presentation standards
