Job Requirements

  • ServeSafe certified
  • Willingness to obtain Certified Dietary Manager certification within 12 months of hire
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Minimum of ten years experience as an executive chef or sous chef in a hotel, private club, fine dining restaurant or similar operation preferred
  • Excellent management, interpersonal, team building and communication skills
  • Post secondary courses in restaurant management, nutrition or related field preferred
  • Degree or certificate from a culinary institute preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide leadership in all kitchens and model hospitality culture
  • Coordinate overall food preparation for the entire community
  • Ensure recipes and standards are maintained producing the highest quality food products
  • Manage cooking and baking activities adhering to dietary standards
  • Oversee sanitation, quality, and nutritional value of food
  • Train and develop culinary personnel
  • Maintain a positive work environment for kitchen staff
