- Minimum five years of progressive culinary leadership experience in a private club, resort, or upscale hospitality environment
- culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
- food safety certification required

Job Duties
- Hire, train, and mentor all kitchen staff to promote professional growth, efficiency, and excellence
- plan and execute menus for all member dining, snack shack, club functions, and banquets
- maintain the highest standards of food quality, sanitation, and safety throughout all kitchen operations
- develop and manage annual food and labor budgets
- monitor costs and performance to achieve financial goals
- supervise daily production, purchasing, and inventory control for all kitchens
- oversee banquet and event execution with precision, creativity, and attention to detail
- interact with members to ensure their dining experiences consistently exceed expectations
- collaborate with the management team to continuously improve the club’s culinary program
- attend food and beverage staff, management meetings and committee meetings as required
- establish and maintain a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule for all kitchen areas and equipment
- work with front of the house staff to establish buffet presentations
- recruit and evaluate job performance of kitchen staff
- coach, reward, and discipline when necessary
- maintain a professional work environment stressing ethical behavior
- plan and manage the employee meal program
- promote a positive, educational, and team-oriented work culture
