Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a professional culinary leadership role
- Demonstrated experience in both restaurant and catering kitchen operations
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid food handler certification or equivalent
- Ability to relocate to Henderson, NV prior to start date preferred
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a culinary environment, preferably as an Executive Chef or similar position
- Strong background in fine dining, catering, and restaurant management
- Expertise in menu planning, food production, and culinary techniques
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Knowledge of inventory management practices and cost control measures
- Proficient in food safety regulations and best practices for kitchen operations
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both kitchen staff and guests
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Job Duties
- Lead and manage the kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
- Plan and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to diverse dietary needs
- Supervise food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, tracking stock levels, and minimizing waste
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food handling, and safety protocols
- Oversee low volume restaurant and high volume catering business, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish
- Oversee shift management to ensure smooth operations during peak service times
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to enhance guest experiences through exceptional service
