Job Requirements

  • 2 or 4 year degree in culinary arts or hospitality management preferred
  • minimum 3 years experience as an executive chef, preferably in large, fast-paced, multi-outlet kitchens
  • passion for industry trends and culinary techniques
  • excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • ability to work with PR and Marketing
  • flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • food handler certification
  • alcohol awareness certification if applicable
  • knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, POS systems, inventory management, procurement software, payroll, timekeeping, and accounting software

Job Qualifications

  • knowledgeable of industry trends, product quality, menu design, food costing, and people management
  • excellent interpersonal communication skills

  • proficiency with Microsoft Office, POS, inventory management, payroll, and business software

Job Duties

  • create an exciting, innovative, and delicious seasonal menu using knowledge of food industry trends and seasonal ingredients
  • lead daily kitchen operations with efficiency, integrity, patience, awareness, and compassion
  • ensure all food products are prepared and served according to recipes, portioning, and cooking standards
  • manage inventory and purchasing responsibilities daily
  • supervise daily cleaning of kitchen and pantry areas
  • ensure kitchen equipment is maintained in excellent working condition
  • foster team learning, growth, and development while creating a respectful work culture
  • prepare required paperwork including forms, reports, and schedules in a timely manner
  • schedule labor to meet staffing and labor cost objectives
  • lead and participate in ongoing service education and training programs
  • interview, hire, train, and appraise employees while addressing complaints and enforcing company policies
