Job Requirements

  • Minimum five years experience in a similar executive chef role
  • Proven ability to manage a culinary team effectively

  • Ability to develop and implement innovative menu offerings

  • Skilled in inventory and cost management
  • Capable of leading, mentoring, and training kitchen staff
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
  • Must be able to commute to or relocate in Springfield, MO
  • Availability for full-time or part-time work
  • Strong banquet experience

Job Duties

  • Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste through effective inventory control practices
  • Lead, mentor, and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food production and service
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with catering teams to create customized menus for special events and functions
  • Monitor food costs and implement strategies to enhance profitability without compromising quality
  • Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and creativity among staff members
