Job Requirements
- Minimum 4-5 years experience as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a hotel or restaurant high volume casual fine dining environment
- two years of culinary school preferred
- experience in hiring, training, supervising, forecasting, budgeting and cost control in food and labor
- ability to maintain sanitation standards and health regulations
- excellent communication and leadership skills
- ability to manage and inspire a kitchen team
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times while providing personalized service
- communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
- plan menus, cost them out, set up line requirements and staffing
- review work schedules and plan/forecast staffing needs and food production
- estimate food requirements and order food from suppliers
- maintain quality of food for guests and employer by instructing cooking team and inspecting foods before serving
- inspect kitchen and equipment for cleanliness and maintenance
- maintain sanitation standards per health department regulations
- manage food cost and maintain department P/L
- attend all required meetings and communicate information daily
- assist other team members and departments for overall performance
- perform other duties as assigned
