Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hotel or restaurant management
- Previous executive chef experience in luxury hotels preferred
- Experience in high volume events
- Proven leadership managing teams of 50+ and leadership teams of 5+
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in English
- Familiarity with hospitality systems including purchase management and guest experience metrics
- Ability to manage budgets and financial goals
- Skilled in menu engineering and concept development
- Capable of mentoring and coaching culinary teams
- Experience working under pressure in culinary operations
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Oversee the development and mentorship of the culinary leadership team and department
- Innovate and create activation experiences throughout the property
- Maintain a high level presence in the kitchen to drive teamwork and consistency
- Sustain and create a robust wine and beverage program in alignment with culinary vision
- Partner and maintain relationships with local purveyors including farms and specialty vendors
- Drive guest engagement experience across all outlets
- Support emotional connections guests have with Hotel Bel-Air through culinary vision
- Execute creative ideas from concept to reality considering cost, timing, and feedback
- Manage a high-pressure operation maintaining food quality and budgetary controls
- Own human capital management including learning, leadership reviews, coaching and mentoring
- Deliver culinary programs to entice repeat business and recognize valuable guests
- Act on initiatives directed by global guest loyalty and F&B consultants
- Utilize guest feedback for menu engineering
- Support guest recognition and creative planning initiatives
- Create menus and concepts aligning with organization values and financial targets
- Monitor budgets and project deadlines while developing culinary management
- Ensure financial goals and capital expenditure requirements are met
- Focus on menu engineering and future planning
- Participate fully in Senior Leadership Executive meetings
- Instill confidence with catering and banquet leadership through event planning
- Leverage brand and chef relationships for signature events
- Drive the Wellness Program with the Director of Spa
- Partner with Sales and Marketing for communication plans for activations
