Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or associate degree with five years experience
- Minimum five years experience as Executive Chef in hospitality
- Current ServSafe Certification
- Experience managing culinary staff
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Ability to work flexible hours including special events
- Good physical stamina
- Effective communication skills

- Ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Assist in planning, preparation, and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals
- Use innovation, imagination, originality, and talent to produce menus and recipes that utilize the highest quality ingredients within budget
- Understand and maintain monthly and annual budgets for food and beverage department including documentation of monthly spend on food, supplies, and labor
- Review and adjust menus to accommodate seasonal ingredients, supply chain issues, and cost changes
- Ensure purchasing standards are maintained and approved vendors used
- Interview, hire, train, manage, and supervise culinary and back-of-house staff including scheduling and performance reviews
- Collaborate with management and staff to meet customer satisfaction and health survey targets
- Ensure preventive maintenance of kitchen equipment and proper safety and sanitation
- Manage food preparation to avoid overproduction and waste
- Maintain accurate daily records and provide ongoing staff training
- Coordinate with hospitality and marketing teams for resident events and satisfaction
- Work all stations in kitchen or dining room as needed
