Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree GED
- Five or more years culinary experience in the hospitality industry
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff and working in a team setting
- Food handlers permit as required by applicable law or company standards
- Must possess valid driver’s license
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word Outlook and Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing

- Five or more years culinary experience in the hospitality industry
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff and working in a team setting

- Adherence to company appearance and dress code policies
- Strong organization detail orientation and time management skills
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word Outlook and Excel
- Position may require driving responsibilities using company provided or personal vehicle
- Must possess valid driver’s license
Job Duties
- Interviewing hiring training developing and performance managing assigned staff including scheduling hours breaks and meal periods
- Maintain monthly and annual budgets for the Culinary Services department and produce written documentation of monthly spend on food supplies and labor
- Maintain appropriate inventory of kitchen supplies small wares and table ware
- Ensure purchasing standards are maintained and maintain strong positive relationships with vendors
- Ensure all food is prepared stored and served according to company standards and legal requirements
- Meet regularly with residents and family members to maintain high satisfaction levels
- Work with staff to ensure understanding of how to provide high levels of customer service
- Confirm front of house and back of house staff work closely to deliver food exceeding expectations
- Work with community leadership to obtain and maintain customer satisfaction and health survey scores at or above designated levels
- Maintain timely accurate documentation and submission of reports and invoices related to budget and responsibilities
- Maintain employee satisfaction and engagement scores at or above company standards
- Delegate tasks to maintain kitchen and dining areas cleanliness and quality
- Conduct and participate in department meetings in-services and pre-meal stand ups
- Ensure all staff use and maintain equipment properly to avoid injury damage and repairs
- Assist in planning preparation and execution of special events banquets and theme meals
- Work closely with community sales team to market the community
- Ensure staff understand company expectations and first impression requirements
- Act as manager on duty as required
- May perform other duties as assigned
