Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent culinary training preferred
  • six years or more of progressive hotel culinary experience
  • previous hotel pre-opening experience preferred
  • at least four years experience in senior culinary role
  • proven leadership abilities
  • excellent English communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • lead kitchen management team
  • provide direction for all day to day operations
  • create and cost new menu items
  • ensure sanitation and food safety standards are met
  • provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest complaints
  • manage staffing levels and performance standards
  • participate in budgeting and controlling food costs
