Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-4 years related experience or training
- ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports
- effective communication skills
- strong mathematical skills related to budgeting and cost analysis
- ability to develop solutions and plan ahead
- compliance with franchise certification if applicable
- capability to handle physical demands including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds
- ability to work in temperature extremes and maintain safety compliance

Job Duties
- Hire, schedule, orient, train and develop kitchen staff
- cook and carve meats and prepare dishes during rush periods and special events
- plan menus and manage food portioning to control costs
- supervise kitchen personnel to ensure cleanliness and adherence to sanitation guidelines
- ensure food quality by tasting and observing prepared dishes
- supervise food inventory, storage and distribution
- assist in developing kitchen budgets and setting menu prices
- meet with sales staff and clients to resolve menu issues and plan special events
