Job Requirements

  • Extensive food knowledge and the ability to remember and recall ingredients and recipes
  • Great leadership skills
  • Ability to coordinate and train team members
  • Exhibits a neat, clean and professional image at all times
  • Genuinely hospitable and polite to our guests and team members
  • Sense of urgency
  • Attention to detail/organized
  • Able to work while standing for 10+ hours a day
  • Dependable, trustworthy
  • Ability to work all stations in the kitchen, (grill saute, pantry, pizza, fry and expo)
  • Team player
  • Previous experience as an executive chef, sous chef, or kitchen manager
  • Full availability

Job Duties

  • Ensuring that our kitchen is fully and appropriately staffed at all times
  • Trains, councils, and coaches staff
  • Ensures all training materials, development and schedules are being followed
  • Clearly communicating with all team members
  • Ensures a harassment-free environment for all team members
  • Manages and makes adjustments to labor on a shift-to-shift basis while ensuring we don't harm the guest experience
  • Achieves budgeted sales and profit goals
  • Maintaining operational excellence so our kitchen is running efficiently and effectively
  • Ensuring that all laws, regulations, and guidelines are being followed
  • Creating a restaurant atmosphere that both patrons and employees enjoy
  • Various other tasks as needed
