Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior culinary leadership role or as an executive chef
  • Proven ability to manage kitchen operations including menu development and cost control
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a culinary team
  • Knowledge of nutrition, dietary restrictions, allergens, and special diets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and kitchen management software
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences for senior residents

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years in a senior culinary leadership role or executive chef position
  • Strong track record managing kitchen operations menus and cost control
  • Exceptional leadership skills able to inspire coach and develop a motivated culinary team
  • Knowledgeable in nutrition special diets allergens and dietary accommodations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with kitchen management software
  • Flexible and able to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Lead all culinary operations ensuring consistent quality safety and resident satisfaction
  • Develop seasonal diverse menus that meet dietary needs while delivering creativity and variety
  • Plan and execute special events themed dinners and banquets ensuring exceptional culinary experiences
  • Manage inventory ordering and cost controls to meet budget goals without compromising quality
  • Ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen
  • Recruit train and mentor kitchen staff fostering a positive collaborative and high-performing team
  • Oversee the departmental budget monitoring labor food costs and operational efficiency
  • Engage with residents gathering feedback and creating memorable dining experiences that enhance their day
