Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous culinary leadership experience preferred
  • basic computer skills
  • ability to secure ServSafe Manager Certification within two weeks of employment
  • must be 18 years of age or older

Job Qualifications

  • previous leadership experience in culinary preparation and cooking preferred
  • high school diploma or equivalent required
  • culinary degree or higher education preferred
  • basic computer skills required
  • data entry experience preferred
  • ability to secure ServSafe Manager Certification within two weeks of employment
  • must be 18 years of age or older

Job Duties

  • plan and execute menus based on resident choices and feedback
  • create a special dining experience for residents and guests
  • utilize different cooking styles and ensure appealing food presentation
  • receive and respond to instant resident feedback
  • support recruitment, selection, scheduling and training of culinary and dining team members
  • live by core values of respect, kindness, compassion, honesty and service excellence
  • incorporate modern culinary approaches emphasizing mindful preparations, portioning, and fresh ingredients
  • lead kitchen operations with commitment to cleanliness, innovation and quality
