Job Requirements
- Minimum of ten years experience as an executive or sous chef
- Post secondary courses in restaurant management, nutrition or related field preferred
- Degree or certificate from culinary institute preferred
- Must be ServeSafe Certified
- Willingness to obtain Certified Dietary Manager certification within 12 months
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of ten years experience as an executive or sous chef in hotel, private club, fine dining or similar operation
- Excellent management, interpersonal, team building and communication skills
- Post secondary courses in restaurant management, nutrition or related field preferred
- Degree or certificate from culinary institute preferred
- ServeSafe Certified
- Willingness to obtain Certified Dietary Manager certification within 12 months of hire
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
Job Duties
- Provide leadership in all kitchens and model hospitality culture
- Coordinate food preparation for the community
- Ensure recipes and standards are maintained
- Produce the highest quality food products
- Manage cooking and baking activities
- Oversee dietary standards, sanitation, quality and nutritional food value
- Train and develop culinary personnel and maintain a positive work environment
