Job Requirements

  • Minimum of ten years experience as an executive or sous chef
  • Post secondary courses in restaurant management, nutrition or related field preferred
  • Degree or certificate from culinary institute preferred
  • Must be ServeSafe Certified
  • Willingness to obtain Certified Dietary Manager certification within 12 months
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of ten years experience as an executive or sous chef in hotel, private club, fine dining or similar operation
  • Excellent management, interpersonal, team building and communication skills
  • Post secondary courses in restaurant management, nutrition or related field preferred
  • Degree or certificate from culinary institute preferred
  • ServeSafe Certified
  • Willingness to obtain Certified Dietary Manager certification within 12 months of hire
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen

Job Duties

  • Provide leadership in all kitchens and model hospitality culture
  • Coordinate food preparation for the community
  • Ensure recipes and standards are maintained
  • Produce the highest quality food products
  • Manage cooking and baking activities
  • Oversee dietary standards, sanitation, quality and nutritional food value
  • Train and develop culinary personnel and maintain a positive work environment
