Job Requirements

  • valid driver’s license and proof of driver’s liability insurance
  • food handlers card
  • food manager certification preferred
  • strong written and oral English communication skills
  • dependability and adaptability
  • ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • maintain a positive and professional attitude
  • ability to work independently and in a team
  • proficiency with computers and software including Google Docs and Sheets
  • ability to manage inventory systems and budgets
  • ability to work under pressure
  • physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform frequent walking and standing

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 5 years experience in high-volume culinary environment with at least 2 years in leadership role
  • catering experience preferred
  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • strong culinary skills and leadership abilities
  • proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and recipe development
  • deep understanding of food safety regulations
  • effective communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • ensure all food items are prepared to highest standards of taste, presentation, and safety
  • develop and maintain recipes and portion specifications
  • collaborate with event planning team to design client-focused menus
  • oversee food and labor costs and manage budget allocations
  • supervise kitchen staff and provide training and support
  • enforce safety protocols and maintain kitchen hygiene
  • participate in management meetings and contribute to operational improvements
