Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a chef in a large-scale cooking operation preferred
  • Prior dietary experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing facility, assisted living, or memory care setting required
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a kitchen managerial position highly preferred
  • Professional image in both appearance and behavior
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ensure all food items are prepared to culinary standards
  • Provide residents with an exceptional dining experience
  • Maintain portion control and minimize waste
  • Improve resident, employee, and client satisfaction
  • Manage food and labor costs within budget
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
  • Lead and supervise the culinary team in daily operations
