Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4 years of culinary experience
  • Preferably 2 years of management experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques and food industry standards
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • Compliance with safety and quality standards

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 4 years of culinary experience
  • At least 2 years in a management role preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of culinary principles and food profession practices
  • Experience managing people and resolving workplace problems
  • Strong oral, reading, and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and simplify agendas for the team

Job Duties

  • Ensure culinary production aligns with the Executional Framework
  • Ensure proper culinary standards and techniques for food preparation, production, presentation, and service
  • Manage a culinary team including chef managers and hourly staff
  • Train and manage culinary and kitchen employees on best food production practices
  • Coach employees by creating shared understanding of goals and methods
  • Reward and recognize employee performance
  • Plan and execute team meetings and daily huddles
  • Maintain staff records including training and performance data
  • Develop and maintain effective client and guest rapport
  • Interact directly with guests daily
  • Aggregate and communicate regional culinary and ingredient trends
  • Deliver food and labor targets
  • Focus on margin improvement and understand performance metrics
  • Ensure efficient execution and delivery of daily menu culinary products
  • Maintain integrity and safety of the standard food offer
  • Comply with Operational Excellence fundamentals and manage waste
  • Understand supply chain and procurement processes using authorized suppliers
  • Implement the Food Framework accurately
  • Ensure accurate food consumption estimates for requisitions and purchases
  • Maintain proper equipment operation and maintenance
  • Comply with SAFE food, Quality Assurance standards, and safety policies
  • Adhere to all applicable policies and regulations including safety and labor laws
