Job Requirements

  • Associates of Arts in culinary school or equivalent experience
  • five plus years as executive chef in hotel or healthcare
  • seven to ten years of food service administrative experience
  • current Clark County Health Card
  • achieve ServSafe certification within 90 days
  • knowledge of JCAHO, Title 22, OBRA and local health department regulations
  • ability to provide care/service suitable for patient age
  • demonstrated leadership and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Associates of Arts in culinary school or five years plus experience as executive chef in hotel or healthcare
  • seven to ten years of progressively responsible food service administrative experience
  • current Clark County Health Card
  • knowledge of regulatory standards such as JCAHO, Title 22, OBRA, and local health departments
  • ability to provide age-appropriate care and service
  • ServSafe certification achievable within 90 days of employment

Job Duties

  • Manage daily food production activities for patients, cafeteria, and catering
  • supervise food service employees to ensure timely completion of duties
  • ensure compliance with food production and sanitation requirements
  • participate in department performance improvement plans
  • communicate daily with the department director
  • maintain adherence to local, state, and federal regulations
  • oversee food safety and quality standards
