Job Requirements

  • Minimum ten years' experience as an executive chef or sous chef in a hotel, private club, fine dining restaurant or similar operation preferred
  • Excellent management, interpersonal, team building, and communication skills
  • Post secondary courses in restaurant management, nutrition or related field preferred
  • Degree or certificate from a culinary institute preferred
  • Must be ServeSafe certified
  • Must have or be willing to obtain (within 12 months of hire) a CDM (Certified Dietary Manager) certification
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Job Duties

  • Provide leadership in all kitchens and model hospitality culture
  • Coordinate food preparation for the entire community
  • Ensure recipes and standards are maintained
  • Produce the highest quality food products
  • Manage cooking and baking activities, dietary standards, sanitation, quality, and nutritional value of food
  • Oversee training and development of culinary personnel
  • Maintain a positive work environment for staff
