Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 5 years culinary experience including management roles
  • proven leadership ability in kitchen operations
  • strong understanding of food handling and sanitation rules
  • competency in menu planning and cost control
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • availability to work Monday through Saturday
  • excellent organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an executive chef or sous chef in a prestigious club or resort
  • strong knowledge of classic cooking principles and scratch cooking
  • experience with menu development and cost management
  • excellent leadership and team-building skills
  • knowledge of federal, state, and local food safety regulations
  • proficient in computer applications relevant to kitchen operations
  • creativity in culinary offerings
  • excellent communication and collaboration skills

Job Duties

  • Lead and develop a professional culinary team with emphasis on scratch cooking
  • direct and manage all kitchen operations
  • develop and update menus to maximize profits
  • manage inventory, purchasing, and cost controls
  • ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • monitor and adapt to member satisfaction
  • collaborate with department leaders to promote teamwork and service excellence
