Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related area
- or 2-year degree from accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field
- 4 years relevant experience
- leadership and management experience
- strong communication skills
- knowledge of food safety standards
- budget management skills
- ability to work full time
- onsite presence at Los Angeles property

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 6 years experience in culinary or related professional area
- or 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 4 years experience
- demonstrated leadership and management capabilities
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- experience in budgeting and controlling food costs
- ability to develop and implement menu and operational guidelines
- proven track record of customer service excellence
- ability to train and mentor staff

Job Duties
- Lead kitchen management team
- provide direction for all day-to-day operations
- supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and food preparation workers
- develop and implement purchasing and receiving guidelines
- establish goals including performance and budget goals
- communicate and enforce safety procedures
- manage controllable expenses and participate in budgeting process
- provide direction for menu development
- monitor quality of food products
- ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
- prepare and cook foods
- provide exceptional customer service and support
- manage guest feedback and complaints
- coach and train kitchen staff
- administer performance appraisals and disciplinary procedures
- collaborate with banquet and catering departments
- maintain open communication with employees and management
- analyze information and solve operational problems
