Job Requirements
- Minimum formal education with business or restaurant management degree a plus
- Prior culinary management experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
- Demonstrated strong communication and leadership skills
- Completion of corporate training program
- Commitment to maintaining food quality and safety standards
- Ability to manage financial aspects of kitchen operations
- Willingness to actively recruit and develop culinary team
Job Qualifications
- Formal business education or restaurant management degree a plus
- Demonstrate exceptional guest service mentality
- Strong communication skills with ability to resolve conflict and provide mentorship
- Effective organization and time management skills
- Successful completion of corporate training program required
- Proficiency in various cooking positions and culinary skills
- Experience in food safety and sanitation compliance
Job Duties
- Proactively recruit hire and provide initial and ongoing training for all BOH personnel
- Perform line checks to ensure proper quality and quantity of food
- Inspect orders upon arrival to ensure completeness and quality
- Inspect all kitchen operations and storage to meet high standards of excellence safety and sanitation
- Manage financial results of the kitchen to drive profitability
- Purchase inventory based on sales volume forecast shelf life and PARs
- Ensure proper scheduling and staffing to maintain efficiency productivity and profitability
- Actively source talent to build a winning team
- Work a flexible schedule including evenings holidays and weekends
