Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
- Current ServSafe certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Experience in hospitality, retail, or entertainment venues
- Ability to lift objects with some assistance
- Willingness to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's or culinary degree preferred
- 5+ years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
- Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant settings
- Extensive banquet event experience
- Experience managing and developing teams
- Current ServSafe certification required
- ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
Job Duties
- Adhere to the company’s mandated F&B menu and purchasing programs
- Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, as well as operating cash flow related to food operations
- Work with Operations and Sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute events including food preparation and service
- Estimate food consumption and make purchases according to the specified food program
- Schedule kitchen staff efficiently to accommodate business volume
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff while developing key personnel like sous chefs and lead cooks
- Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- Supervise kitchen equipment maintenance and conduct sanitation audits in compliance with local Department of Health regulations
