Job Requirements
- bachelor's or culinary degree preferred
- 5+ years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
- experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
- experience managing and developing teams required
- current ServSafe certification required
- ability to obtain ServSafe instructor certification preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to lift objects with some assistance
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job Qualifications

- extensive experience in banquet-style events
- experience managing and developing teams
- current ServSafe certification
- ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified is preferred
Job Duties
- adhere to the company's mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
- maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
- review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
- work with the operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events, including preparation, service, and cleanup of food and beverage
- estimate food consumption and make appropriate purchases
- schedule staff efficiently to accommodate shifts in business volume
- recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff including sous chefs and lead cooks
- ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
- manage kitchen equipment maintenance and sanitation audits
- implement cleaning schedules complying with local Department of Health regulations
- report critical issues to the General Manager
