Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Lead culinary team to consistently execute at a high level
  • Develop and implement creative menus for various outlets and catering
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations including banquets, outlets, in-room dining, staff cafeteria, and stewarding
  • Manage procurement, production, preparation, and presentation of food
  • Develop recipes and cost control measures
  • Conduct line checks and establish production schedules
  • Supervise cleaning duties and maintain safe, sanitary work environment
  • Monitor inventory levels and food cost controls
  • Prepare weekly staffing schedules and recruit as needed
  • Ensure staff training and performance management
  • Participate in capital projects for kitchen and restaurant improvements
  • Engage in weekly operational meetings and banquet event reviews
  • Maintain compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations
  • Respond to food-related feedback and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure maintenance of kitchen equipment
  • Foster teamwork and maintain interdepartmental relationships
  • Represent the hotel in media and community food-related events
  • Promote hotel’s service promises and operational standards
