Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or associate degree with equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years’ experience as an Executive Chef
  • Experience in the hospitality industry
  • Current ServSafe Certification
  • Ability to supervise and manage staff
  • Strong budgeting and organizational skills
  • Commitment to food safety and quality standards
  • Effective communication skills
  • Flexibility to work various kitchen and dining stations as needed

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assist kitchen and restaurant staff with back and front of the house operations as needed
  • Plan, prepare, and execute special events, banquets, and theme meals
  • Develop menus and recipes using high-quality ingredients within food and labor budgets
  • Manage monthly and annual budgets for food and beverage department including expenditures
  • Review and adjust menus for seasonal and supply changes
  • Maintain purchasing standards and vendor relationships
  • Supervise culinary and food and beverage staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards including food handling and hygiene
  • Manage inventory and reporting of food and beverage supplies
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance resident satisfaction and coordinate special events
