Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of executive chef or senior sous chef experience in a high-end private club, luxury hotel, or upscale restaurant
  • 5+ years in a managerial role
  • Culinary degree from an accredited institution preferred
  • SERV Safe certification or equivalent food safety credentials
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Design and execute seasonal member-focused menus across all dining venues and events
  • Create signature dishes that reflect current culinary trends and the Club’s traditions
  • Hire, lead, and manage a team of high-quality kitchen staff to exceed member expectations
  • Ensure seamless communication between the kitchen, banquet, and service teams
  • Maintain food and labor costs within approved budgets
  • Source the highest quality ingredients while building strong vendor relationships
  • Implement cost control measures and inventory management systems
  • Establish and maintain training procedures to ensure quality and consistency
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for food preparation, storage, and presentation
  • Maintain a visible presence during peak dining times and special events
  • Solicit feedback from members to guide menu development and dining enhancements
