Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of relevant experience preferred
- Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as required by state law
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to work scheduled shifts punctually
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as mandated
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to work safely around food and cleaning products
- Residency within the service area
Job Qualifications
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Utilize leadership skills to manage responsibilities independently after training
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Specialized training in food service management and nutrition desirable
- Two years of experience in quantity food production/service, dining/nutrition, and personnel supervision preferred
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting
- Completion of approved sanitation and safety course may be required
- Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required based on state and county law
Job Duties
- Manage and supervise dining services staff in the absence of the Account Manager
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure food quality standards, inventory levels, food safety compliance, and customer service expectations are met
- Assist Account Manager in maintaining records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment
- Conduct training, quality control, and in-servicing of staff to meet HCSG standards
- Perform essential functions of dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher when needed
- Communicate directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to staff
- Ensure safety protocols, including PPE usage and infection control, are strictly followed
